Hip Dysplasia

Hip dysplasia is a condition involving an abnormal development of the hip joint, where the hip socket may be too shallow. This can lead to instability and potential long-term issues with the hip joint. While it can be present at birth, symptoms may not become noticeable until later in life. Common signs include hip pain, limited range of motion, and a feeling of the hip “popping out.” Treatment options may include lifestyle modifications, physical therapy, or, in more severe cases, surgical interventions to correct the hip’s alignment.
