Labral Tear

A hip labral tear is a condition where the cartilage, known as the labrum, surrounding the hip joint is damaged. This can occur due to factors like repetitive movements or trauma, leading to pain and discomfort in the hip. Symptoms often include pain, stiffness, and a clicking sensation in the hip joint. Treatment options may include rest, physical therapy, and anti-inflammatory medications to alleviate symptoms and promote healing. In more severe cases, surgical intervention, such as arthroscopy, may be recommended to repair the torn labrum.
